Refund policy
We really love hoops and we really want you to love our hula hoops. Every effort is made at HoopSpin to get your goods to you in perfect condition.
If any product is faulty, incorrect or damaged in transit to you, please contact us and report the problem within SEVEN days of receipt of the goods.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders will be repaired, replaced or refunded. Please do not ship the goods back to us unless we have told you to do so.
We will not reimburse the cost of shipping items back to us unless we have instructed you to do this.
All our hoops are custom made to your specification therefore cut tubing, Custom made hoops and shipped orders are not refundable unless deemed by us to be damaged, faulty or incorrect.
Cancellations
To cancel an order contact us as SOON as possible
If payment has already been made for a custom order and the order has not yet been made and shipped and is cancelled I will refund you the purchase price including postage and packing.
If the order has been shipped I will not refund any money as long as the goods have been made to the agreed written quote specifications. As long as it is fit for function I reserve the rights not to refund monies.
Cut tubing, Custom made hoops and shipped orders are not refundable unless damaged, faulty or incorrect.
If payment has already been made for a ready to ship order and the order has not yet been shipped and is cancelled I will refund you the purchase price including postage and packing.
Non custom orders may be returned unused and in their original condition within 14 days of ordering. Refunds will be issued minus posting and packaging costs once the item has been returned and inspected.
WARRANTY
Hopefully your hoop will get a lot of use with normal use and care hoops can be expected to last for six months to a year, sometimes much longer. I have had some hoops for 12 years. However, deterioration in tape coverage is unavoidable. Travel hoops are subjected to additional stresses due to being folded down, but with proper use we would expect them to be good for at least six months and they frequently last a lot longer. If you experience problems with your hoop within six months of purchase, please contact us to discuss options.
We have a clear guide on looking after your hoop and how to open and close it and how to deal with common issues that can arise. We do not cover hoops that are kinked or broken during collapsing.

Failure to read this information will void any warranty.
Hoops are carefully checked before being despatched. In the unlikely event there is a problem with a hoop, we will do our best to put it right and ensure you are happy. If your hoop needs to be replaced, we will happily do this on receipt of the damaged or faulty hoop. If a hoop is found to be faulty, we will provide one replacement, free of charge.
Please note if the fault is due to collapsing of the hoop or due to undue physical stress on the hoop (violent breaks/poor wedgie technique) we will not replace it.
Please ensure that any hoop being returned to us is properly packaged and addressed, as HoopSpin is not responsible for damage in transit, or non-receipt of any returned goods. When returning any item, please wrap it in the same way as when it was sent to you, with adequate labelling and a return address in the event of non-delivery. Hoops should be returned as a standard parcel via Royal Mail (not ParcelForce) or via a courier as that is how they are sent out.
If you tell us that you do not require a replacement hoop, HoopSpin will refund the original amount paid once the faulty or damaged hoop has been returned and inspected.
Hoop Classes & Workshops REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY
- Please ensure you check with your GP/Medical practitioner if you have any concerns before undertaking any new physical exercise.
- These courses are a guide on how to carry out moves. You are solely responsible for how you move at any point whilst following these classes and workshop instructions or practicing the material that has been taught in the sessions. HoopSpin cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or property damage caused by you hula hooping during or outside of the classes and workshops.
- Bruises and achy muscles are very common and may occur when using the hula hoops especially over bony areas, particularly for beginners – please rest and wait for the bruising to go before you continue hula hooping.
- All courses are required to be paid upfront to ensure your space can be held for you.
- Courses can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the first class after this, courses are non-refundable but are transferable before the start of the first class. If you miss a session we cannot refund you for this.
- If HoopSpin has to cancel a class within a course you will be emailed a date (usually tagged onto the end of the course) on which you can attend the rescheduled class. If you cannot attend this session HoopSpin will arrange video footage of the tricks from the cancelled class.
- All classes, courses and workshop prices include UK VAT. No postage is required.
- If a workshop has to be cancelled by HoopSpin you will be notified by email and offered an alternative/refunded the full amount.
- HoopSpin will contact you by email to keep you up to date on any notices regarding the course, class or workshop you have paid to attend. It is up to you to check your email every week before class in case of any emergency notices. We may attempt to contact you by mobile number if a last minute emergency cancellation occurs.
- Please try to arrive up to 10 minutes before your class as the venue has a code lock system and it will not be possible for me to leave the class to let you in. If you are running late attendance may not be possible.
